I tried the Blue Diamond Facial at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle

I tried the Blue Diamond Facial at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not exactly what you’d call a “facial person.” My skincare routine is more “whatever’s in arm’s reach” than “luxury spa day.” But when I heard about the Blue Diamond Therapy Facial at The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, promising to revitalize and redefine, I thought, “Why not let my face live its best life for once?”

So, I booked the appointment and crossed my fingers (and pores).

First things first: this is no ordinary spa. The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is a luxury spa, tucked inside one of the city’s most iconic hotels. If you’re going to give your skin some TLC, why not do it at a place that makes you feel like an A-lister the moment you walk through the door?

Before the treatment, I hung out in the Relaxation Lounge, and let me tell you—this is where the pre-glow magic happens. Picture plush sofas that make you question your entire living room situation, soft lighting, and a peaceful, meditative vibe that immediately melts away any lingering stress. I was handed a warm cup of tea, snuggled into the coziest lounge chair, and within minutes, I was rethinking all my life choices (mostly why I hadn’t come here sooner).

Then it was time for the main event: the Blue Diamond Therapy Facial. This isn’t your average cleanse-tone-moisturize situation. Oh no. This facial means business. It uses their new Blue Diamond Super Serum, which sounds like something a Marvel superhero might use to stay youthful. And honestly? The results are kind of superhuman. The moment it touched my skin, I knew something magical was happening.

Formulated with a potent blend of diamond peptides and arabinogalactans (derived from the white bark of the Tara tree), the serum helps to stimulate skin cell energy production and protect against environmental stressors. Translation? Brighter, firmer, more resilient skin.

The treatment also features a triple massage technique, including a Hungarian facial massage, sculpting tools that I don’t have the vocabulary to describe but fully trusted, and naturally derived tetrapeptides. These mimic the effects of microcurrent devices to lift, smooth, and contour. I could practically feel my face being re-sculpted in real time. Goodbye, tired and stressed skin. Hello, cheekbones I haven’t seen since 2016 (pre-motherhood.)

That signature Hungarian massage not only boosts circulation and lymphatic drainage but also enhances the absorption of the active ingredients—leaving skin visibly toned and plumped. The facial also includes a gentle peel using lactobionic and glycolic acids to exfoliate and refine texture, all while being gentle enough for sensitive skin.

When it was all said and done, I looked in the mirror and was genuinely shocked at how radiant and lifted my skin looked. Like I’d just come back from a two-week wellness retreat somewhere glamorous. I floated back to the Relaxation Lounge, sipped more tea, and seriously considered cancelling the rest of my day to just bask in my own glow.

My skin felt deeply hydrated, visibly smoother, and noticeably more luminous. Even hours later, the glow was still going strong—without a stitch of makeup.

Now, if you really want to go all out—and trust me, you do—turn your spa day into a spa-inspired staycation. The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle isn’t just home to this dreamy spa. It also boasts the city’s only outdoor infinity pool, where you can swim while soaking in panoramic views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. Or lounge by the firepit with a cocktail in hand (hello, vacation mode), and later, enjoy a relaxing soak in their jetted hot tub. The hotel suites are the perfect blend of Pacific Northwest comfort and modern luxury, with cozy fireplaces, deep soaking tubs, and floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s like living in a Pinterest board, but better.

And don’t even get me started on the dining. After my facial, I made my way to Goldfinch Tavern, the hotel’s upscale waterfront restaurant in collaboration with Seattle’s celebrated chef, Ethan Stowell. Whether you’re there for brunch, lunch, or dinner, the menu is full of Pacific Northwest favorites with a modern twist. Think Dungeness crab cakes, wild king salmon, and one of the best clam chowders I’ve ever had. Pro tip: Pair your meal with a glass of Washington wine and toast to your freshly rejuvenated face.

So, is the Blue Diamond Therapy Facial worth it? One hundred percent. My skin has officially entered its radiant era.

Whether you’re a skincare minimalist or someone who lives for self-care, this facial—and the entire Four Seasons experience—will leave you glowing in every sense of the word.
